Welcome to Relax & Revive, and thank you for looking at our website. We offer professional skincare, grooming and relaxation treatments. Whether you are looking for a facial to address a skin concern, a grooming treatment or simply a treatment to help you relax and unwind, we are here to ensure you receive the best treatment possible. Located in the beautiful bay of St Heliers, we are in the perfect location to come and escape the rat race, and enjoy some well deserved pampering. Located off the main street and upstairs, our premises are easily located, with lots of street parking, and ensure that treatments are performed with the utmost peace and privacy. All of our therapists are qualified, passionate about their clients, and provide outstanding service. If you'd like to get to know us more, each of our therapists are introduced below. Louisa

Louisa, the salon owner, took over Relax & Revive in 2014. She enjoys the challenge of being a business owner and the friendships she builds with clients.

She is a qualified beautician and has product knowledge and treatment training in Ultraceuticals, Guinot and Pure Fiji. She is qualified to perform specialised treatments, including LED Light Therapy, IPL, peels, microdermabrasion, electrolysis, and hydradermie treatments to treat skin concerns and conditions. She is passionate about Relax & Revive and its clients, and any feedback or suggestions can be provided directly to her at Louisa@relaxrevive.co.nz.

Caitlin

Caitlin joined Relax & Revive in 2016. Since qualifying in 2013, she gained extensive experience as a skincare technician while working for another leading skincare salon. She is qualified in all aspects of beauty therapy and has undertaken advanced training with Ultraceuticals and in electrolysis, IPL, microdermabrasion, peels, and LED light therapy.


Salon etiquette

Confidential consultation and consent form

If this is your first visit to us, you will be asked to completed a confidential consultation and consent form. This allows us to provide you with the best treatment and advice, and for some services, we are legally required to obtain your medical history and consent before the treatment can be performed. Consequently, it is appreciated if you would arrive to your first appointment 5 minutes early to complete the form. Depending on the type of treatment you have, other additional forms may need to be completed. We may refuse to provide a treatment where the required forms have not been completed.

Therapist selection

We are committed to your complete satisfaction and quality of service. We allocate our therapists based on the treatment requested and the therapists' qualifications, experience and availability. Please let us know at the time of making your booking if you would prefer a particular therapist for your treatment.

Lateness

In the event of you arriving late for your appointment, as a courtesy to our next client, your appointment will end as originally scheduled. Lateness may require that your appointment be rescheduled if there is insufficient time to complete the treatment.

Cancellation policy

We appreciate that there may be times when unexpected events occur and you may not be able to make your appointment. We kindly ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice of any need to change or cancel your appointment. Failure to provide the proper notice may result in a service charge (which may be 100% of the treatment fee). We may require a 50% deposit be paid at the time of booking.

Mobile phones

In order to provide a peaceful environment, we kindly ask that you turn your mobile phones off or to silent when at the salon.

Children

In order to provide a peaceful environment for all clients, we kindly ask that children not be brought to the salon.

Hours, treatments and pricing

Please refer to our website for up-to-date hours, treatments and pricing, as the hours, treatments and prices specified in the treatment menu are subject to change without notice.

Payment

We accept all forms of payment other than American Express and cheques.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates can be purchased which are to be used only for services unless otherwise stated. Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Relax & Revive is not responsible for any lost or stolen gift certificates. Gift certificates MUST be redeemed before their expiry date and presented at the time of redeemption/payment. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

Personal belongings

We kindly request that all valuables be left at home or other safe place. Relax & Revive is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged belongings.

Service guarantee

We are committed to your satisfaction. Please contact us within a week if you are disappointed or dissatisfied with the services provided and we will do everything we can to ensure we provide you a service you are happy with. If preferred, please email Louisa at Louisa@relaxrevive.co.nz.

Loyalty cards, marketing bonus and pre-pay deals

We love to reward your loyalty and offer the following loyalty and discount deals: loyalty card, marketing bonus and pre-pay deal.

Terms and conditions apply, including but not limited to: no double discounting or bonuses, no time extensions or cash refunds or substitutions. We reserve the right to change any terms and conditions of any loyalty or promotional offer.

Ultraceuticals products

Ultraceuticals is an active product range, and very rarely, some clients may react to it. We ask that you follow the product's instructions and contact us in first instance should you have any questions or experience any redness, itchiness, swelling or discomfort that does not subsided within 48 hours of your treatment or product application. If you think a product reaction has occurred, Ultraceuticals may provide a refund for the product provided any unused product is returned to us and you complete the necessary reaction form.
